6. When I open certain modules in RecFind I get an error 'insufficient file handles'.
Symptom
Clicking on certain modules in RecFind produces an 'insufficient file handles' message.
Cause
The environment setting for DOS file handles is insufficient.
Solution
For Windows 95/98 Users:
Modify the 'config.sys' file in the root directory of c:. Add or modify the below entry:
files=255
stacks=16,256
For Windows NT Users:
Perform the same addition or modification as above to the 'config.nt' file. It is generally located in the c:\winnt\system32 directory.
