Service Pack 1
Service Packs add improvements and provide fixes to problems discovered by GMB and our customers. Note that the symptoms (problems) described below may not be experienced by your site. Many of these symptoms are due to a unique set of circumstances that your site may not experience. Not all of the 'fixes' are because of faults in the code; many are 'work-arounds' for problems found in network, operating system or database products used by GEM but not supplied by GMB.
GEM Config Service Pack 1 for Release 1.1.0 contains all corrections and improvements made to GEM Config v1.1.0B since its release. Corrections include fixes to address the following symptoms:
- The confini.exe application that lets you change the gemcfg.ini file wrongly swapped the Server Name with the Database Name value. [Ref: F006]
Installation
Requirements
- You must have GEM-Config already installed.
Setting up GEM-Config Service Pack 1
- Copy the confini.exe application over the one already present on your system (located in the GEM-RDBM directory).
