Australian Executor Trustees Limited (formerly TOWER Trust) selects
GMB's RecFind Corporate to manage its Mortgage/Property Document Custody
Sydney, February 28, 2005: GMB is pleased to announce that
Australian Executor Trustees Limited has purchased GMB's RecFind-Corporate
software for their Corporate Trust division. Australian Executor
Trustees plans to use the RecFind-Corporate application to track the
movements of Mortgage Document Packets between Mortgage Brokers,
Australian Executor Trustees and Solicitors.
Australian Executor Trustees is a prominent authorised trustee
company within Australia, with over 120 years of experience as a
specialist provider of wealth management, wealth preservation and
transfer services. The Corporate Trust division offers trustee and
custodian services for prescribed interest and managed investment
schemes, debt issues and securitisation issues.
Philip Joseph was appointed as CEO of the Corporate Trust business
last year and has embarked on a growth strategy, aimed at increasing
Australian Executor Trustees presence in the property, mortgage and
equity custody business and enhancing its structured finance and
securitisation services and products.
Part of Philip's strategy has been to implement a 'Mortgage Document
Custody System' for managing 'Mortgage Packets', which include all
official documents that relate to a mortgage. In order to continue to
compete successfully in the industry, Australian Executor Trustees
required a proven, robust solution that was absolutely secure and
reliable.
Australian Executor Trustees use the Workflow feature in RecFind-Corporate
to manage the life cycle of the Mortgage Packet. It tracks the packet as
it moves between Mortgage Brokers, Australian Executor Trustees and
Solicitors. Although Australian Executor Trustees will predominantly use
RecFind to manage paper, there is also the functionality to allow for
electronic document management (EDM), and email management, if required.
The system is initially being implemented in Corporate Trust, Sydney
with the intention to expand the system to Corporate Trust's Adelaide
office in the future.
